Brett Kitchen, RPP, MCIP

Councillor
Born and raised in Yorkton, I now call Saskatoon home. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Regional and Urban Planning from the University of Saskatchewan and, more recently, a Local Government Administration Certificate from the University of Regina. My career began with the City of North Battleford, followed by a role with the Government of Saskatchewan’s Community Planning Branch. I currently work in Development Services for the Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344, where I focus on subdivision and development applications. Completing the Canadian Institute of Planners’ Emerging Leaders Program in 2025 inspired me to become more involved in advancing the planning profession, which I look forward to doing through the SPPI Council.
