I was born and raised in Saskatoon, which is where I call home. I was first introduced to planning at the University of Saskatchewan where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Regional and Urban Planning. From there, I moved to Prince Albert to work as a Planning Technologist for the City and gained a lot of great experience towards my RPP designation, which I received in 2017. I really enjoyed living at Emma Lake part-time when I was there. Returning to Saskatoon, I first worked for Saskatoon Land as Property Coordinator and then the Government of Saskatchewan Community Planning branch. I now work for the Ministry of Social Services Income Assistance division as a Manager, Special Projects. In this role, I get to connect with community-based organizations to help support clients with complex needs. I’ve volunteered for the conference planning committee quite a few times and found I really enjoy supporting SPPI and re-connecting with old co-workers and friends at the annual conference. I’m excited to be a member of the SPPI Council because it gives me the opportunity to contribute to the profession and work with a great team of passionate individuals
