Brad Zurevinski is the President and CEO of Usask Properties Investment Inc., which manages the land development and real estate operations of the University of Saskatchewan. In this capacity, he is responsible for transforming over 1,000 acres of university endowment lands into sustainable, mixed-use communities that generate long-term value for the institution while promoting housing innovation, environmental performance, and financial sustainability.
Before founding USask Properties, Brad served as the General Manager for Dream Development in Saskatoon, where he supervised the planning and delivery of major master-planned communities, including Brighton, which is the city’s top-performing neighborhood by market share. Throughout his 15+ years in the field, he has directed the development of over 3,500 residential lots and more than 100 acres of multi-family and commercial lands, managing annual capital budgets exceeding $40 million.
Brad’s background includes serving as the Managing Leader of the Urban Development division at Stantec Consulting and early-career experience with the City of Saskatoon. His expertise encompasses land development, infrastructure planning, stakeholder engagement, and strategic business leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS).
In addition to chairing the 2025 Saskatchewan Real Estate Forum, Brad is the incoming Chair of the Saskatoon & Region Home Builders’ Association and has recently received the Award of Honour from the Canadian Home Builders’ Association.
This presentation will highlight the Stadium Square Concept Plan (Parcel A) and Parcel F Concept Plan, completed by Catterall & Wright in partnership with USask Properties Investment Inc. Located within both the City of Saskatoon’s University Sector Plan and the University’s College Quarter Master Plan,
Parcel A is a key growth area that requires a coordinated approach to land use, infrastructure, and long-term development.
The session will focus on how technical studies, public engagement, and concept planning were integrated to create a clear, flexible framework for future development. Catterall & Wright led the project, completing a detailed traffic-impact study that assessed current conditions and future build-out scenarios. This work identified key constraints and informed recommendations for phased roadway, intersection, and multimodal improvements.
