Genevieve Russell is a Sustainability Specialist with the City of Saskatoon, where she leads the Water Conservation Program and implements the Water Conservation Strategy to reduce indoor and outdoor water use across civic operations and the broader community. At the City, she has also lead work on green infrastructure, triple bottom line decision making, and urban design. Genevieve is a landscape architect with over 25 years of experience and is passionate about helping build resilience and prepare for future environmental challenges.
Genevieve and Sarah will provide an overview of the City of Saskatoon’s strategic directions and priorities related to water conservation, natural infrastructure, and climate change. Their presentation will highlight efforts to enhance resilient municipal infrastructure and services while preparing the community for increasing climate challenges.
