Pamela Brotzel is a Senior Project Planner with the City of Saskatoon and leads the Corridor Planning Program. With more than 15 years of experience in planning, Pamela specializes in community redevelopment, corridor planning, and creating vibrant, connected urban spaces.
Pamela led the development of Saskatoon’s first Corridor Plan, the College Corridor Plan and continues to oversee the implementation of Corridor Plans and related initiatives across the city. Her work includes advancing key Housing Accelerator Fund initiatives that support increased housing opportunities and density along Saskatoon’s major transportation corridors.
Pamela is passionate about creating places that support growth while improving how people experience and move through their communities. During the walking tour, she will share the vision behind the College Corridor Plan, highlight key changes along College Drive, and discuss how planning, transportation, housing, and streetscape improvements are coming together to transform the corridor.
Join us for a walking tour along College Drive to explore the vision, progress, and implementation of Saskatoon’s College Corridor Plan and Link Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system. This tour will highlight the transformation of College Drive to support transit- oriented growth, housing, mobility, and public realm enhancements along one of Saskatoon’s key urban corridors.
In addition, the tour will discuss the community and stakeholder engagement process that helped shape the plan and continues to inform implementation. Attendees will gain insight into how collaboration, public input, and interdisciplinary coordination are helping deliver a more connected, vibrant, and transit-supportive corridor.
