Michael’s planning career at the City of Regina spans over 18 years working in different capacities such as long-range policy and research, regional planning, monitoring growth in the community and more recently city centre neighbourhood planning and revitalization efforts. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Geography from the University of Regina as well as a certificate in urban design from Simon Fraser University.
Like many cities, Regina has been prioritizing investments to foster a vibrant downtown and economic development in its centre.
Join the Scarth Street Tour to experience one of Regina’s City Centre’s oldest streets and talk about what is being done to breathe new life into this area to attract new residents and businesses while creating places that appeal to the broader community.
Participants will take a stroll down Scarth, making stops to view and talk about renewal and revitalization eƯorts occurring along the strip. Over this 6-block stretch, there are a lot of activities advancing that together will generate a new vibe and momentum.
