Management Professional
Sarah Wood is a Regina-born non-profit management professional, with a particular interest in adaptive re-use of heritage spaces and cultural storytelling. Her work history has focused on heritage non-profits and heritage spaces, previously serving as the Executive Director for Heritage Regina, focused on public education and engagement and working with the City as well as with the Legislative Assembly and the Western Development Museum. Already, her favourite part of the job is bringing people backstage to see the amazing renovations that help create theatre magic.

Like many cities, Regina has been prioritizing investments to foster a vibrant downtown and economic development in its centre.

Join the Scarth Street Tour to experience one of Regina’s City Centre’s oldest streets and talk about what is being done to breathe new life into this area to attract new residents and businesses while creating places that appeal to the broader community.

Participants will take a stroll down Scarth, making stops to view and talk about renewal and revitalization eƯorts occurring along the strip. Over this 6-block stretch, there are a lot of activities advancing that together will generate a new vibe and momentum.
