Diana Hawryluk is a Registered Professional Planner with 28 years of experience in land use planning, development, and public policy. She spent over a decade as Executive Director and Director of City and Community Planning at the City of Regina, where she led multi-disciplinary teams on complex regional, rural, and urban projects. Diana joined Dream in November 2024 as General Manager of Land for Regina and is also the Principal of Veracity Planning Solutions Inc. Her career spans all levels of government in Canada and includes international experience with the Government of Bermuda. She is widely recognized for her collaborative approach, leadership in curriculum development, and commitment to advancing the planning profession and community well-being. Diana currently serves as Chair of the Canadian Mental Health Association (Regina Branch).
Explore Eastbrook – A new master planned community in the SE part of the City, which exemplifies modern and innovative community design concepts.
This walking tour will be led by Dream Asset Management – the developers of some of Regina’s premier neighbourhoods, including Eastbrook, Harbour Landing, and, soon to be, Coopertown. We will visit Kiswehap Park – an innovative urban plaza that incorporates programmable opportunities, art, leisure and recreation – and will tour both built-out parts of the neighbourhood and areas under construction, examining innovative housing examples, and learning about some of the engineering detail.
This tour will provide lessons for community development from professional planners, engineers and developers.
