Students from the University of Saskatchewan’s Regional and Urban Planning Program undertook study abroad this past spring to learn about urban design and active transportation in Amsterdam. They will present the results of one of their projects and share stories from their experience in the Netherlands. Students will then share some of their work from a senior planning studio project earlier this year that centred on a parcel of land within Saskatoon’s new University Sector Plan to imagine greenfield- and re-development opportunities that support urban resilience, sustainability, health and welling, and climate change adaptation. Parts of the project will be presented and discussed.
